Profoundly simple

My friend Robert Rabbin has captured his entire life’s work into ten words which he calls the 5 principles of authentic living. These are:

  1. be present
  2. pay attention
  3. listen deeply
  4. speak truthfully
  5. act creatively

When I read these five principals, I can feel the lifetime of thinking that has gone into them.

My friend and partner Matt Church has boiled down the job of a thought leader to three words:

            think, sell, deliver.

We have written a 60,000 word book and run a 12-month masters level program around those three words.

Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. said “I would not give a fig for the simplicity this side of complexity, but I would give my life for the simplicity on the other side of complexity.” I agree … both Robert and Matt have done the work to find the simplicity and elegance that lives on the other side of complexity. As Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. says, it's something worth giving your life to.

Love to hear your thoughts – are you giving your life to discovering the profoundly simple? You can leave them below.
