On my calendar and task list

I’m expecting a huge open rate this week with such an exciting subject.

Ever since I read Getting Things Done by David Allen (over 20 years ago now), I’ve been a bit fanatical about my calendar and task list.

I’m constantly tweaking how I do both.

But the principle that sits behind what I’m doing hasn’t changed.

Keep nothing in my head. I rely completely on my calendar to know what’s happening, and my task list for what I have to get done.

This principle helps me be more productive, and more present. I’m not trying to remember what’s happening next, so my attention can be in the moment.
