These days, when I hear people talking about sales, most of the conversations seem to centre on technology. How to track prospects, and rank their value, and automate communications, etc etc.
I reckon sometimes we need to get back to basics, and remember it's about people.
I use an extremely simple, low-tech tool to track sales. It motivates me, and keeps me focused on the job. Here's an excerpt from a session I presented at Thought Leaders Business School on this very topic.
