I am a massive, massive believer in good enough. Get it good enough, and get it out. Launch, launch, launch. Most people wait too long and go way past the point where it’s good enough to publish.
We launched Thought Leaders Business School with a one-page website that I did on Kajabi. Writing the copy, shooting the video and uploading it took between 2-3 hours all up. It was good enough, and we got our first 50 students into the program on the back of that website and a four-page brochure.
I’m good at the first stage, getting it good enough and launching it. What I need to work on is identifying which things I’ve launched that justify version 2.0 or version 3.0. Going from good enough to great. If it’s up and working OK, I’m normally onto the next thing.
But as you can see above, the second iteration of the Thought Leaders Business School website is definitely not my work. Thanks to Mike & Col and the team, it’s now looking great.
(BTW if you click on the image above, you can still see the old version.)
Love to hear your thoughts – do you struggle with getting to good enough and launching, or coming back later to make it great? You can leave them below.
PS Last week's blog was a special April Fools Day edition. I’m sorry to say hitting the button doesn’t make the green man come any faster, there isn’t an app which will tell you which queue in the supermarket will go faster, and I don’t outsource my meditation :)
PPS Thought Leaders Business School May intake (May 29, 30 & 31st) is now open – let me know if you want to have a chat to see if it’s a fit for you.
