The purpose of the mentoring is to help you get what you want, to do the work you are meant to do, and to live an extraordinary life.

It’s easy to just skim over that, so probably worth breaking that down a little:

Get what you want.

I think mostly we don’t slow down enough to get clear about what we want. And that’s the biggest thing that gets in our way.

Do the work you are meant to do.

This is working in your genius, doing the thing only you can do.

Live an extraordinary life.

For me this is literal – a life that isn’t ordinary. You could call it life-by-design, or living consciously.

While the context is your whole life (work, money, wellbeing, relationships, spirit) the focus is definitely your business (or your practice, if that’s the type of business you run).

Some specific outcomes are:

  • Clarity - most of us aren’t completely clear about what we want in our business and in our life, and I think the most effective thing we can do to make things better is increase clarity about what we want. This is a big focus, and the context and springboard for everything else.

  • Profit - we’re looking for a minimum of $50k in additional profit from the work we do together. The session should pay for itself many times over.

  • Decisions - we’ll make a bunch of decisions about what to do and just as importantly, what not to do. Both in your business and your life.

  • Plan – you’ll leave with a clear, specific plan for what to do next.

In my business I teach coaches how to build 7- and 8-figure businesses. But when I need mentoring in my business, I go to Pete. He really gets me and the business, and helps with everything from high-level strategy, product mix and culture down to pricing, program design and people. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Here’s how it works.

Most of the business mentoring I do these days is a half-day here in Warrandyte, Melbourne Australia.

To kick off you’ll get some comprehensive prep to do. The prep (and the work) is based on this model:

My mentoring session was life changing. It was like a quantum shift out of one orbit and into another.

I left the session with incredible clarity about what my next decade is about, what I want the next year to look like and the decisions, actions and projects to get me there. If you’re considering doing this mentoring with Pete, I don’t think there is a better investment you could make in yourself and for your next decade.
— Susan Benedyka

The prep gives you a chance to step back and look at what’s working, what could be better and what you want in all these domains. Often this alone creates some shifts, so it’s good to give yourself some time and space for this part.

Then we’ll have a 30-minute call to review the prep and align on what you want to get out of the mentoring.

While the mentoring is focussed on your business, we don’t work on this in isolation. We’re looking to create that in the context of your whole life. We’ll touch on all the domains … and see where the work is.

At some point we’ll shift to strategy, and look at some specifics to move towards what you want:

  • What decisions can you make?

  • What projects could you do?

  • What habits do you want to start / stop?

  • What beliefs do you want to shift?

  • What identity do you want to create?

The intent is you leave the day with some real clarity about what the next 5–10 years is about in your business and your life, and some very specific things to do to make progress.

If you’re interested shoot us a message and lets have a chat to see if its a fit.

The half day mentoring session I did recently with Pete has had a huge impact on my practice and my life. The clarity that has come from the session is profound … I now have a very clear answer to what I do for my clients, and this has fundamentally shifted my positioning. I feel like the compass was spinning, and now its pointing true north.

I’d been impressed by Peter’s blogs for some time and decided to reach out to see if he was available for mentorship. Meeting Peter I was struck by his authenticity and humility, and immediately trusted him. I could see that he lived by his values. Peter’s wealth of experience in the world of business and entrepreneurship enabled him to ask the right questions and cut through complexity to create clarity. Our sessions have had a transformative effect on my life and work. I feel incredibly fortunate to be working with such an extraordinary person.

Peter is my role model for how to get the important things done, and in the smoothest way possible. His clarity, warmth, calmness, sincerity, practicality and intelligence inspired me the first I met him, and continues to. He is one of the two best mentors I’ve ever had, throughout my entire 26 year career.

“For so long, I’ve wistfully hoped that Real Schools could become something that could sustain my family and that could hopefully help a few schools too. Somehow, I’ve found myself on the other side of a threshold where so much more than that is possible.
In no small way, you’ve pushed me across that threshold and allowed me to see the difference we could potentially make in the world. And despite the Frankston psychology whispering in my ear occasionally, I’m far more excited about that prospect than I am daunted these days.
I credit that excitement, and the transformation in me that I know accompanies it, to you. Thank you brother.
