Last week I took Ami, our 3-year old, to a speech pathologist – apparently that’s who you need to stop thumb-sucking. Vince did his assessment and then sat down at the end to explain it all to me.
In my mind anything I produce has a two-year shelf life. If I launch a program I expect to run it for two years. If I record a video I think it will last two years before I replace it.
One of my favourite experiments ever was run by Robert Caldini to try and get people to reduce electricity usage. He tried four different approaches to get them to use less power.
There’s a great little café in Warrandyte called Now and Not Yet. A not-for-profit social enterprise that is passionate about people and coffee, and provides a free studio for local artists. What’s not to love?
